Functie omschrijving Group Reporting Analyst
As part of this dynamic and forward-thinking environment, the Finance Department is looking for a Reporting Analyst. This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing the consolidation system. Furthermore, you are – together with the rest of the finance team – responsible for managing the monthly reporting process. Next to that, you’re supporting the business by making (Excel or Power BI based) analyses.Tasks and responsibilities:
- Maintaining and optimizing the consolidation system, and thus ensuring the efficiency within our consolidation. You will be supported by external consultants for the real technical changes.
- Managing the monthly reporting process, e.g. ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of the deadlines and interdependencies within the process and that the underlying systems are prepared for data-entry.
- Maintaining the integrity and quality of financial data within the consolidation system and our Data Warehouse.
- In time, you are expected to be the go-to person for questions about availability of financial data and calculations.
- Close cooperation with the Finance Team to establish a robust technical foundation for the consolidation system.
Functie eisen
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A structured way of working.
- Fond of working with financial data.
- Eagerness to learn.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related field in a multinational company.
- In-depth knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge and experience in Power BI is a pre.
- Full proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken.
